  • 1/2 oz Saffron-infused honey syrup
(Combine 1 tbsp honey, a pinch of saffron, and 2 tbsp warm water. Stir until the honey is dissolved and the saffron imparts its color and aroma.)

Tasting Notes

  • Note: Saffron and vanilla play nice-nice with this tequila’s native smell of oak and caramel.
  • Palate: A smooth, warm sip, just like a good Añejo tequila should, then the herbal-bittersweet-nutty party happens. Saffron adds an exotic dimension to deepen the tequila a bit further; honey and Amaro Nonino add sweetness and a splash of citrus to balance out this beauty.
  • Finish: Long and silky, with lingering flavors of saffron, oak, and a touch of bitters from the black walnut bitters.

This refined desert elixir from mexico channels the refreshing spirit of agave.
